Trailer for live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender (probably) coming Thursday, Nov 9

It’s been a long time since we heard that Netflix was producing a live-action remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of the most beloved animated series of all times. The original show is set in a world inspired by East Asian cultures where select people can control the elements: earth, air, water and fire. Look at that rock fly slooooooowly across the screen. Netflix’s remake will have to be a good deal more exciting than this if it wants to make fans happy. By tomorrow, we’ll have a much better idea where we stand.
