Aemond Targaryen, melting King Viserys among new House of the Dragon Funko Pops

It is a truth universally acknowledged that whenever a TV show, movie, book or even whimsical breakfast menu exists, there will be a Funko Pop doll made out of it. Funko has been making these big-headed, cute ‘lil vinyl dolls for years. Think of any fictional character you’ve ever liked. There’s a Funko of them. Think of a real person who’s even a little bit famous. The odds are pretty good there too.

With Funko being ubiquitous as it is, of course they have dolls modeled after characters from House of the Dragon, HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel series. There are several already available, and more on the way in January! Funko just pulled back the curtain on a bunch of new ones, including…

Aemond Targaryen with sapphire eye

No House of the Dragon Funko collection is complete without Aemond Targaryen, the grumpy green sulk prince. This new doll is special because you can remove his eyepatch to reveal the sapphire eye keeps in the socket beneath.

Rhaenyra Targaryen and Syrax

There are a few Funkos of Rhaenyra Targaryen out there already. This one comes complete with her dragon Syrax.

The Crabfeeder

Early on in House of the Dragon, Daemon Targaryen fought against a guerrilla leader known as the Crabfeeder. Take him home so he can terrorize your stuffed animals. Just don’t ask him about his skin condition; he’s sensitive.

Viserys Targaryen: After and Before

Speaking of skin conditions, my favorite Funko of the bunch is probably King Viserys I Targaryen as he appears near the end of his life, after disease had hollowed out his face and rendered him practically an invalid. There’s something especially hilarious about this adorable take on the lowest moment of the king’s life.

There’s also a new Funko of King Viserys when he was in better health:

These Funkos are available for preorder but won’t ship until January. You can check them out on Amazon, Entertainment Earth, and of course the Funko website.
