Ashley is a PhD astrophysicist and programmer in Texas who also writes and edits professionally. She has been Executive Editor of Evensong Editing since 2011 and has also published numerous poetry, short fiction, and ghostwritten pieces, mostly in sci-fi and horror. Ashley also has both Savant Syndrome and synesthesia (her colors are similar to composer Ramin Djawadi’s!). Her science work is focused in planetary astrophysics research and teaching advanced physics to a variety of ages at a local advanced-curriculum school. AI has always been an interest of hers, and Westworld and Firefly are her favorite shows!
