This October, Netflix will reportedly be adding an underrated dark fantasy series to its library. We're talking about a show that flew under the radar for many viewers during its original AMC run years ago. Remember the series that starred Zachary Quinto as a chilling and supernatural villain? NOS4A2 Netflix release date
So, when exactly in October is the short-lived AMC show scheduled to arrive on the streaming platform? According to What's on Netflix, the complete NOS4A2 series will be available to watch on Netflix starting Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025. That means you can expect both seasons 1 and 2 to drop on the platform on this date. That's 20 episodes of some seriously binge-worthy content!
Given that NOS4A2 has horror elements, the Netflix release date couldn't be any more perfect. It'll be released just in time for Halloween! While we don't know the exact time the show will hit Netflix, the episodes could potentially drop at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on the release date. The streaming giant is known for usually releasing new content at this time. That's why we think there's a good possibility of this happening with NOS4A2. However, nothing has been officially confirmed.
Another thing to keep note of is the fact that Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to this show. In other words, it's not a Netflix original. What is NOS4A2 about?
Jami O'Brien created NOS4A2. It's based on the bestselling 2013 novel of the same name by Joe Hill, who is perhaps best known as the son of horror legend Stephen King. The series follows Victoria "Vic" McQueen, a young woman with a seriously unusual superpower. She can find lost things no matter how impossible it seems. But things get wild when she crosses paths with Charlie Manx, a terrifying immortal villain who snatches kids, feeds off their souls, and then takes them to his twisted wonderland called Christmasland. Vic then makes it her mission to stop Manx and rescue the children trapped in his nightmarish world.
As mentioned earlier, Quinto plays the role of the evil, immortal villain, Charlie Manx. Ashleigh Cummings, on the other hand, stars in the leading role as Vic. The rest of the cast is made up of Jahkara J. Smith, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Virginia Kull, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ashley Romans, Jonathan Langdon, Mattea Conforti, and so many others.
