In a little more than a week, Prime Video will debut the second season of Fallout. Based on the bestselling video game series from Bethesda, the television show perfectly captures the irreverent tone that has made the games so well-loved while forging its own tale across the post-apocalyptic Wasteland.
The show's second season will see our Vaultdweller Lucy (Ella Purnell) and her cynical companion The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) head to New Vegas, an iconic location where they hope to track down Lucy's devious father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan). Meanwhile, Maximus (Aaron Moten) adjusts to his new position as a knight of the Brotherhood of Steel, while the armed group of militants are experiencing newfound heights of their power thanks to the discovery of cold fusion energy at the end of season 1.
The first season of Fallout contained a lot of twists and turns, from The Ghoul's backstory and how it relates to Lucy's father, to the fate of the Wasteland community Shady Sands, to Lucy's brother Norm's (Moises Arias) quest to unearth the dark secret of Vault 31. With season 2 on the horizon, it's a very good time for a rewatch so that you can go into the new episodes without struggling to remember everything that came before.

When does Fallout season 2 premiere?
Unlike the first season of Fallout, which dropped all eight episodes at once, season 2 will stretch them out week-by-week. The season premiere drops on Prime Video on Wednesday, December 17. New episodes of the show's eight episode season will follow every Wednesday until the season finale on February 4, 2026.
