We're deep into the second season of Prime Video's Fallout, and the suspense is building. The season's sixth episode, "The Other Player," introduced some serious twists and turns for beloved characters like Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), while laying the groundwork for an exciting finish ahead. Normally, waiting that full week for the next episode can get be as excruciating as getting on the wrong side of a Deathclaw. But fear not! We're visiting the Wasteland early for Fallout season 2's final episodes!

What will happen in the final episodes of Fallout season 2?
While every episode of Fallout season 2 has been rock solid, "The Other Player" definitely set the stage for things to ratchet up in the final two installments. After waking in the Vault-Tec management Vault in New Vegas, Lucy discovers the depth of her father Hank's (Kyle MacLachlan) experiments to mind control the residents of the Wasteland and turn them into happy office workers. By the end of the episode, she begrudgingly presses the button to convert two more herself; our Vaultdweller is being tested in the extreme this season.
Meanwhile, The Ghoul encountered the very first supermutant in the series, played by veteran actor (and voice of the iconic "War never changes" narration in the Fallout video games), Ron Perlman. While The Ghoul contends with the wider implications of this newcomer, we saw flashbacks revealing that Cooper Howard's wife, Barb (Frances Turner) was coerced to tell the other corporations that they had to drop the bombs themselves. The Enclave was active even before the apocalypse, and it now seems they're the ones who've been pulling the strings all along.
As for Maximus (Aaron Moten), he and his Ghoul friend Thaddeus (Johnny Pemberton) finally crossed paths with The Ghoul near New Vegas. Maximus still has the cold fusion relic that was stolen from the Brotherhood of Steel, and wants to find someone "good" to give it to — someone like Lucy, who is now conveniently located right near The Ghoul's cryogenically frozen wife and daughter. I sense a big crossover coming on!
And off on his own, Lucy's brother Norm (Moisés Arias) has been found out by the management trainees from Vault 31. What will they do with him, now that they know he's actually from Vault 33? And speaking of the Vaults, things are reaching a breaking point there too, with Betty (Leslie Uggams) struggling to retain control over Vault 33, while Steph (Annabel O'Hagan) tries to force Chet (Dave Register) into a shotgun wedding.
There'll be plenty to cover in Fallout Episodes 7 and 8. Tune in at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET the next two Tuesdays to see how it all plays out!
