The 2025 Star Wars Celebration ended today, and we got a boatload of news out of the event, most notably new looks at The Mandalorian & Grogu movie and details on Star Wars: Starfighter, a film starring Ryan Gosling to be set after the end of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. After a few years away, Star Wars is coming back to the big screen!

But there's plenty more Star Wars to come on TV, too. For instance, sometime next year, we'll be watching the second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka, which revolves around former Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) as she navigates the difficulties of life after the fall of the Empire. In the first season, she fought against a mysterious Sith lord (or Sith-adjacent, anyway) named Baylan Skoll, played by Ray Stevenson. Stevenson's performance was praised, but unfortunately he died in 2023, just a few months before the first season of Ahsoka premiered.

Lucasfilm decided to recast the role with Rory McCann, whom Game of Thrones fans will remember as Sandor Clegane, aka the Hound. McCann was incredibly memorable as the Hound, but he hasn't appeared in many high-profile projects since. It'll be exciting to watch him work in Ahsoka, especially since he's playing another conflicted warrior.

The first images of McCann in costume emerged at the event. Check 'em out:

We've also learned that Star Wars icon Hayden Christensen will return to play Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka season 2. Anakin was Ahsoka's mentor back when she was training to become a Jedi, and although he's dead by this point in the story, he turned up in the first season through flashbacks and Force visions, so expect more of that.

A new Star Wars TV series is coming: The Ninth Jedi

Disney has plans for the galaxy far far, away. In addition to all the other stuff we just talked about, they're also producing a new animated TV series called The Ninth Jedi. It's a spinoff of an episode of the show Star Wars: Visions set after the Star Wars sequel trilogy; that episode, obviously, was also called "The Ninth Jedi."

There will also be another short involving the characters of The Ninth Jedi coming in the third season of Star Wars: Visions, which is due out October 29, 2025. We don't know when the new TV show will start.

Oh, and the second and final season of Star Wars: Andor premieres this Tuesday. If you're a Star Wars fan, you may be feeling overwhelmed right now. Don't worry, we'll get through it:
