Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams spotted in sixth grade class photo from 1948, is a time traveler confirmed

And now for something completely silly:

Here's a thought experiment to brighten up your Tuesday: is Maisie Williams, the actress noted for playing the revenge-happy murder machine Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, a time traveler? No, of course not, you might say, that's ridiculous. Okay, sure, yeah, but what if I told you that there was a sixth grade class photo taken in 1948 in Oakland, California where one of the students kinda-sorta looks like Williams if you squint?

What about now? WHAT ABOUT NOW? See how foolish you look.

This photo made the rounds on Reddit a few years back. Jokes aside, I honestly don't really see a ton of resemblance between Williams and the girl in the photo, but the photo has been making the rounds again so I figured it was worth putting it on the floor. Is this some random girl or proof that Maisie Williams traveled back in time when she was younger? And if it's the latter, why did she travel back in time? What precious resource was only available in Oakland in the late 1940s, did she bring any back with her, and can she share it?

Jokes aside again, Maisie Williams has done very well for herself after Game of Thrones wrapped up back in 2019, having appeared in shows like Pistol and The New Look. It's possible she could even return as Arya Stark at some point. Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin recently hinted that he'd been talking to her about some secret project. Dare fans hope that it's some kind of Arya show or movie? Arya had one of the most open-ended endings on Game of Thrones, so if HBO does decide to make some kind of sequel, she'd be a great place to start.

That is if she's available between her trips into the past. But I guess she could just time travel to a few minutes before call time on set whenever she wanted. Y'know, maybe they should make a movie about her real life instead; it sounds insane.
