House of the Dragon (HBO/HBO Max): Season 3 premieres June 21

This is the big one. After two seasons of buildup, the Dance of the Dragons is erupting into full-scale war when House of the Dragon returns. Season 3 of the Game of Thrones spin-off looks to be its biggest yet, kicking off with the much hyped epic Battle of the Gullet. That alone is pulling in attention, yet it’s only the start of an amazing season.

Both teams Green and Black have new allies, such as Lord Ormund Hightower and the Winter Wolves, while the cast continues to explore inner conflicts and battles for the Iron Throne. With word that season 4 will be the last, the stakes can only get bigger and make House of the Dragon the epic fans have waited for.

House of the Dragon season 3 premieres June 21 on HBO and HBO Max.

The Legend of Vox Machina (Prime Video): Season 4 premieres June 3

Fantasy’s most unlikely “heroes” are back for another season of fun adventures. Season 3 ended with the band disbanding, embarking on separate journeys and moving on with their lives. However, when the Cult of the Whispered One begins spreading its influence across Exandria, they have to reunite. There will be changes as Scanlan is taking time off for his daughter, so his spot will be filled by Taryon Darrington (Wayne Brady).

Despite that, it’s still the same mix of high adventure, outrageous comedy, and amazing character work that’s made the show a cult success. With the upcoming fifth season being the last, it’s time to roll the dice for another fantastic adventure.

The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 premieres its first three episodes on June 3 on Prime Video.

The Vampire Lestat (AMC+): June 7

Technically, this is Interview With The Vampire season 3, but the title change is meaningful. After focusing on Louis (Jacob Anderson) in its first two seasons, the series now puts the spotlight on Lestat (Sam Reid). Lestat uses Louis’ book's fame to become a rock star, with the masses not grasping that he’s a real vampire.

The show looks to be darker than ever as Louis gives his take on events and a question of where Armand (Assad Zaman) fits into this twisted love triangle. It’s the progression in the story Anne Rice fans have been waiting for, so get ready to rock out hard in this bold new season.

The Vampire Lestat premieres on June 7 on AMC+.

The Terror (AMC+/Shudder): Streams Thursdays

The new season of this horror anthology, subtitled “Devil in Silver,” has been flowing well since it premiered in May. It follows Pepper (Dan Stevens), a former rocker recovering in a mental hospital that’s home to a sinister force. The show has amped up the scares with every episode, including some shocking deaths.

The season will conclude on June 11 and given the format, it’s unclear if even our hero survives. The series lives up to its name and the ending should be terrifying to the extreme.

The Terror: Devil in Silver season 3 finale airs on June 11 on AMC+ and Shudder.

My Adventures With Superman (HBO Max): Season 3 premieres June 13

The acclaimed newest animated take on the Man of Steel is not only back for a new season but is also tackling one of the biggest Superman stories ever. It adapts “Reign of the Supermen,” as we see Superboy and the Cyborg Superman trying to supplant the Last Kryptonian amid new threats.

Fortunately, Superman has aid from Supergirl, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen even as a darker enemy rises up. With more surprises in store, this delightful show will continue to entertain in a bold new year.

My Adventures With Superman season 3 premieres on June 13 on HBO Max.

Sugar (Apple TV+): Season 2 premieres June 19

The first season of Sugar looked like a modern private-eye tale, with Colin Farrell in the title role as an investigator in Los Angeles. But (without giving away a shocking plot twist), it took a major turn into sci-fi for a surprise hit.

Season 2 has Sugar taking on a missing persons investigation that leads to a bigger crime. More importantly, it delves into the sci-fi aspects and just who Sugar truly is. If you loved the unexpected turn of the first season, seeing how the show gets crazier in the second should be amazing.

Sugar season 2 premieres on June 19 on Apple TV+.

Avatar: The Last Airbender (Netflix): Season 2 premieres June 25

The live-action adaptation of the beloved animated series moves into the second “book” of the saga. Following “Book 2: Earth,” Aang, Katara, and Sokka continue their quest to stop the Fire Nation. That involves a trip to the Earth Nation so Aang can master earthbending while Azula has conquered the Air Nation.

The big addition for season 2 is the introduction of the beloved blind Earthbender Toph (Miya Chech), who joins the team. Many Avatar fans hold the original Book 2 as the best season of the series, so the expectations are high for the live-action version to match that for a penultimate season of the saga.

Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 premieres all seven episodes on June 25 on Netflix.

From (MGM+): Season 4 streams Sundays

Still the most underrated genre show on television right now, From has been firing on all cylinders throughout season 4. That includes some shocking character deaths, delving more into the lore of this mysterious town and its supernatural threats, and the chilling idea that even death is no escape from this ordeal.

That has fans on pins and needles wondering how this will all wrap up. It’s the penultimate season so we may get more questions than answers as fans can only expect this series to always do the unexpected.

From streams new episodes Sundays on MGM+, with season 4 finale on June 28.

Adventure Time: Side Quests (Disney+ and Hulu): Premieres June 29

Fans of animated adventures, rejoice, as the beloved Adventure Time show is back! This new series of episodes brings back Jake and Fin for a new generation of viewers to enjoy their adventures in the land of Ooo. Expect the returns of Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, BMO, and more with the humor and heart that made the show so magical.

With 20 episodes available at once, it’s high time to get back into one of the best animated shows ever.

Adventure Time: Side Quests premieres on June 29 on Disney+ and Hulu.

Star City (Apple TV+): Streams Fridays

The prequel to For All Mankind premiered on May 29, so it’s still just unfolding its tale in June. Star City flashes back to the late 1960s to explore just how the USSR beat the United States to the moon, kicking off this alternate world. The show follows the various scientists working on the space project under pressure from the KGB and other power players while delving into Cold War politics.

Star City streams Fridays on Apple TV.
