Spoilers are ahead from One Piece season 2 episode 4!
In the third episode of One Piece season 2, the Straw Hats arrived at their first island in the Grand Line. While there, they made their way through the local town. Whisky Peak seemed like a fun town that was accepting of pirates at first, but the Straw Hats soon realized that the townspeople were actually Baroque Works agents in disguise. We also learned Miss Wednesday's true identity.
By the end of the third episode, the Straw Hats successfully escaped Whisky Peak on the Going Merry along with Miss Wednesday. But then Miss All Sunday made her presence known on the ship. Will she cause them more trouble? Let's move on to the fourth episode to find out!

The Straw Hats set sail for Little Garden
Episode 4 picks up where the previous episode left off. As the Straw Hats travel to their next island, Miss All Sunday informs them that it's Little Garden. Apparently, this island is very dangerous. Miss All Sunday then makes the Straw Hats an offer. But first, she hands over an Eternal Pose.
Basically, it's a Log Pose that always points at one particular island. With the one Miss All Sunday is giving the Straw Hats, it will take them to a remote island. She explains that by going to this island, they'd be able to avoid any trouble that they'd be facing on Little Garden or from Baroque Works. She even promises them she'll protect them from her organization.
But Luffy doesn't trust her. He declines her offer and even breaks the Eternal Pose. Before jumping off the ship, Miss All Sunday warns the Straw Hats that they now have targets on their backs after protecting Miss Wednesday. This can't be good!
The Straw Hats finally arrive at Little Garden. It's a prehistoric island with seemingly no one living there. What they find are extinct plants and creatures. We're talking dinosaurs! The Straw Hats split into small groups to explore the island. But once Nami notices that Usopp has gone back to the ship, she rushes after him. While trying to get Usopp to come back, a giant suddenly appears near their ship. He asks them if they have any ale. Once he drinks what they have, he then takes them away. Oh no!
Elsewhere on Little Garden, Zoro and Sanji kill a dinosaur for dinner. Zoro walks away after he hears a strange noise nearby. It's a young girl laughing. Suddenly, the young girl marks him with a yellow circle on his leg. His eyes then turn yellow before returning to their natural color. Meanwhile, Luffy and Miss Wednesday ride on the back of a long-necked dinosaur. After Luffy smells something cooking nearby, he directs the dinosaur toward the source.
What they end up finding is a big piece of meat. Luffy starts munching on it right away, while Miss Wednesday tells him that the food belongs to someone else. Suddenly, a giant appears. He doesn't look happy at someone eating his food either. The episode then cuts to a cave where the giant from earlier is holding Nami and Usopp hostage. They initially believe he intends to eat them, but they soon realize he only wants to share a meal with them. He's a friendly giant named Brogy the Red Ogre, aka Elbaph's strongest warrior.
We find out later that the giant that Luffy and Miss Wednesday encounter is named Dorry the Blue Ogre. Not only is he a friendly giant as well, but he also calls himself Elbaph's strongest warrior. That's weird.
Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine arrive at Little Garden
Did you really think Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine were going to leave Miss Wednesday and the Straw Hats alone? That's impossible because Mr. 0 will have their heads if they don't successfully complete their mission. This is why they end up on Little Garden. As they search through the jungle, they run into a house built of wax. That's strange! However, Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine know whose behind the house right away. It's Baroque Works member, Mr. 3. Mr. 0 sent him and his partner to take over Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine's assignment after they failed to capture Miss Wednesday.
Mr. 3 then makes an offer to Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine. He tells them that if they help him get rid of the giants who are currently ruining his plan, he'll recommend that Mr. 0 not kill them. The duo decides to take him up on his offer. Back in the cave, Brogy tells Nami and Usopp all about his island, Elbaph. However, the conversation is cut short after a volcano erupts. It's time for the two giant warriors on the island to fight.
Apparently, Brogy and Dorry have been at odds for over a hundred years. Once the volcano erupts every day, the two engage in a battle to the death. According to Brogy, they've already had 73,466 duels which resulted in a draw. Why are they fighting? That's something they can't seem to remember.
Brogy leaves the cave to get ready for his duel with Dorry. While Usopp chases after him right away, Nami finds herself distracted when she hears laughter in the cave. It's the young girl from earlier who left a yellow circle on Zoro's leg. This time, she leaves a green circle on Nami's thigh. Nami's eyes briefly turn green before returning to their normal color. What is going on?
Apparently, the paint on Zoro and Nami's bodies changes their personalities. We find out later that it's the work of Mr. 3's partner, Miss Goldenweek. It's now time for the battle of the giants. Nami, Usopp, Miss Wednesday, and Luffy watch the fight from one side of the jungle while Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine watch from another side. Brogy and Dorry hand each other a mug of ale before fighting. However, what they don't know is that Mr. 5 put a bomb in Brogy's cup.
The bomb eventually explodes in Brogy's stomach during the fight, giving Dorry the advantage to land the final blow and win the battle. Luffy recognizes that the bomb was Mr. 5's doing and chases after him. Miss Wednesday follows. Meanwhile, Miss Valentine uses her powers to make Usopp fall off a rock before capturing a loopy Nami.
Usopp then runs over to a seemingly dead Brogy. He explains to Dorry what really happened to him, and Dorry walks away in shame. Oh no! Usopp was hoping that Dorry would help him save Nami, but now he has to figure out a way to do it himself. Elsewhere in the jungle, Luffy runs into Miss Goldenweek. We finally get to see her in person. Miss Wednesday catches up to Luffy, but it's too late. Miss Goldenweek has already painted a blue circle on his face, which makes him really depressed.
She then lets Miss Wednesday take off with a head start. Miss Wednesday makes it all the way to the Going Merry, but is then captured by Mr. 5. Meanwhile, Dorry makes his way to Brogy's cave. While he wallows in sorrow about Brogy, Mr. 3 secretly arrives and uses his wax power to pin his hand to the cave's wall before completely covering him in wax.
The fourth episode then wraps up with Miss Wednesday, Nami, and Zoro all being held captive in Mr. 3's wax house.
One Piece season 2 episode 4 review
While I enjoyed watching the fourth episode, it wasn't as entertaining as the previous three. It felt more like a filler to set up the fifth episode. However, I was excited to meet two more Baroque Works agents. Mr. 3's wax power was interesting, and Miss Goldenweek's ability to make a person's personality change with just paint was really unique.
The friendly giants were a fun addition as well. With Nami, Miss Wednesday, and Zoro captured, I'm looking forward to seeing how they manage to escape in the next episode!
