The most evil couples of Game of Thrones
3. Euron Greyjoy and Cersei Lannister: Two ridiculously power-hungry individuals don't make a good match, and that's certainly true in the case of Cersei and Euron's bizarre romance on Game of Thrones. If you could even call it that. Their coupling comes after Euron arrives at King's Landing and proposes to Cersei. No, they don't know each other, but Euron is strategic. He knows Cersei is the way to more power, and he wants to form a bond that goes deeper than just being military allies. Cersei initially rejects him but soon realizes she could also use him to get what she wants. Their relationship is a major force that drives Jaime away from Cersei once he realizes she's plotted with Euron behind his back.
Cersei and Euron have malicious intentions and only care about themselves, a dangerous combination for Westeros. That said, their relationship doesn't really go anywhere; they're trying to come out of the war on top but they don't actually have feelings for each other. At least Cersei definitely doesn't. She longs for Jaime and he's the one who is by her side when they meet their fates.
2. Ramsay Bolton and Myranda: Myranda and Ramsay don't have as much screen time as some of the other couples on this list, but even with the limited scenes they have it's obvious how twisted they are together. On his own, Ramsay is an evil, insecure man who feeds off of the pain of others. With Myranda, his bad behavior is accepted — and even encouraged. A servant of House Bolton, Myranda aids Ramsay in his many wrongdoings, including tricking Theon and hunting women through the forest. Myranda is in love with Ramsay and wants to marry him, but once he becomes legitimized this isn't a possibility anymore. Their new dynamic causes Myranda to feel more jealous than ever before, especially when Sansa arrives.
In the fifth season, Theon ends up killing Myranda in order to flee with Sansa, closing the chapter on her relationship with Ramsay.
1. Ramsay Bolton and Sansa Stark: While Sansa is far from evil, Ramsay's villainous ways and treatment of his wife make these two the absolute worst of the worst couple on Game of Thrones. There isn't one ounce of love between them two — Sansa is just following her duty and Ramsay is happy to have a beautiful woman as his new play toy. Ramsay is sadistic and ruthless, and once he's no longer a bastard he feels justified to act in any way he pleases, including the repeated rape and humiliation of Sansa. Their relationship has no redeeming factors, because of Ramsay, and the only good thing to come out of their marriage is his death.
Ramsay's death is without a doubt the most satisfying of Game of Thrones, with Sansa feeding him to his hungry dogs after she and Jon Snow takes back Winterfell. The only way for Sansa to ever truly feel safe again is to watch him die with her own eyes.
Don't worry — not all of the couples on Game of Thrones are this terrible, but it kind of is the vast majority! Stream all eight seasons of the fantasy series right now on Max.
