3. Luna Lovegood

It’s common knowledge that Luna Lovegood moves to the beat of her own drum. There isn’t another character quite as quirky as Luna in the book and film series. But she flies a bit under the radar in both. There’s a lot more to Luna that the weird ramblings and overall oddball vibe.

And it’s easy to see why Luna is the way she is. Her father, another person who's mind is so open to alternative views of the world it's in danger of falling out, has quite the interesting influence on Luna, and those unique characteristics make her who she is.

At her core, Luna is one of the most important characters in this story. Similar to Neville Longbottom, Luna is a beacon of light, love, and hope in a dark world.
