The second season of Invincible wrapped up today with "I Thought You Were Stronger," an episode where hero Mark Grayson takes on his multiverse-hopping nemesis Angstrom Levy. The episode wrapped up their conflict fairly neatly, but it still leaves lots of treads dangling. This show has approximately 30,000 characters and 50,000 plotlines, so of course not everything is resolved.

We don't know when season 3 will come out. Right now, let's just remember the good times in season 2. Here's a complete episode list, complete with running dates and release dates:

  • Episode 201: "A Lesson for Your Next Life," 49 minutes — November 3, 2023
  • Episode 202: "In About Six Hours, I Lose My Virginity to a Fish," 50 minutes — November 10, 2023
  • Episode 203: "This Missive, This Machination!" 50 minutes — November 17, 2023
  • Episode 204: "It's Been a While," 46 minutes — November 23, 2023
  • Episode 205: "This Must Come as a Shock," 51 minutes — March 14, 2024
  • Episode 206: "It's Not That Simple," 50 minutes — March 21, 2024
  • Episode 207: "I'm Not Going Anywhere," 52 minutes — March 28, 2024
  • Episode 208: "I Thought You Were Stronger," 54 minutes — April 4, 2024

Again, we don't know exactly when Invincible season 3 will be out. However, showrunner Simon Racioppa is promising a compariatively quick turnaround. "Amazon picked up [seasons 2 and 3] together," he recently told The Direct in March. "So, we are deep in Season 3 at this point. So I can't tell you exactly [when], but I can tell you it will not be the same wait between [seasons] 1 and 2... We're well in progress on Season 3, and it's coming along great."

Back in December, cast member Jason Mantzoukas (Rex Splode) said he already recorded his dialogue for season 3, which he describes as "bananas." That means they were already far along months ago. Hopefully, we'll be watching more episodes before we know it.

Next. Invincible. Invincible creator doesn't think Omni-Man's story should be considered a "redemption arc". dark
