Exclusive: Behold the stunning cover for author Eliane Boey's sci-fi thriller Club Contango

Strap in, because we have something exciting to share: the brand new cover for Club Contango, the latest novel from author Eliane Boey! Boey is a Chinese Singaporean writer of speculative fiction whose short fiction has appeared in Clarkesworld, Galaxy, Weird Horror and other publications. Last year, she released her debut book, Other Minds, a novella duology which delved into the realms of cyberpunk and space horror. Now, Boey is gearing up to unleash her newest work: Club Contango, a space murder mystery novel due out on November 11, 2024 from Dark Matter INK.

Club Contango is the story of single mother Connie Lam, who runs an illegal micro-casino on the first international space city along with her best friend... until the murder of a former business partner crosses the fine print on an old AI job and locks her into a race to reclaim her life from other versions of herself.

It sounds like a wild ride, and today, we're thrilled to reveal the official cover art for the book. Feast your eyes on the cover for Club Contango:

The artwork for Club Contango was created by artist Nickolej Villiger. The novel is being categorized as a sci-fi thriller, so expect lots of mind-bending ideas and pulse-pounding twists and turns. If Boey's previous work is anything to judge by, this is a science fiction book to keep an eye out for later this year.
