Fandom Madness 2024: Vote your favorites in our Elite Eight!

The sports world is in the midst of March Madness, where college basketball teams go head to head in an explosion of competition, athleticism and gambling activity. Over here at WinterIsComing.net, we're having our own tournament: Fandom Madness, where we take 64 characters from sci-fi, fantasy, movies, TV and books and pit them against each other until only one is left standing. There's just as much competition, the athleticism is mostly theoretical, and any gambling activity is between you and your friends. I'm backing away slowly from that one.

Anyway, we're not down to just eight characters. This round has some interesting match-ups. Which wizard will triumph: Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender or Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings? The fandoms behind Good Omens and Interview With The Vampire have pushed Crowley and Lestat deep into the tournament, but what happens when they go head to head? Can a newcomer like Rhaenyra Targaryen from House of the Dragon best an icon like the Doctor from Doctor Who?
