There isn’t much longer left to wait for the new episodes of the sci-fi series about a group of people on a shaceship looking for a new planet to call home. The Ark season 2 premieres on Syfy on Wednesday, July 17. Episodes will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT on the network, and you will not want to miss out.
Take a look at images from The Ark season 2
The first-look images are out, and they set the tone for what to expect. Nobody is safe, and it will become a fight for survival.
Maddox allowed the crew of Ark One to come to her ship in thanks for curing her of Klampkins Disease. She realized that they are all stronger working together. With the planet Ark One was trying to get to now exploded and no longer around, boarding Ark 15 was the only way for the people on Ark One to survive.
It’s clearly not going to be easy for everyone to get along, though. We can see from some of the images that there will be some tense moments. Garnet has led Ark One well up to this point, fighting off those trying to overthrow her and encouraging team work. However, Maddox is a very different type of leader, and she’s not here for negotiations.
There are two images that have me concerned. There’s one with Spencer carrying Angus into a room. The red light around them suggests that a warning is going off. Does this suggest major trouble coming in the first couple of episodes of the season?
Another image shows Eva knocked out on the floor. Brice is over her with his suit on. This looks like it may take place in the aftermath of the explosion of the planet. There is another image of Brice and Eva together; neither of them are wearing suits and they're both alert, which suggests that Eva will pull through.
Here are the other first-look stills from The Ark season 2. The two crews are coming together, , but this is Maddox's ship.
With hope of settling a new planet gone, the survivors of humanity will need to figure out what to do next, and where to go.
