By and large, The Wheel of Time is a serious show. The Dark One threatens the existence of life as we know it. Only the Dragon Reborn can stop him. Can he learn how to wield his power in time to stop the gathering dark? Will it matter if society collapses from the inside beforehand? The characters on the show are grappling with some major stuff.

But on set, making The Wheel of Time can be as chaotic and hilarious as any other TV show. To tide us along ahead of season 3, Amazon has released a blooper reel from behind the scenes of season 2. Watch it above!

Natasha O'Keeffe (Lanfear) has some standout moments in this reel, flubbing her lines and doing squats in her crazy moon vixen outfit. I also liked when shoots were interrupted by airplanes. The Age of Legends is long over; get that kind of technology outta there!

Watch The Wheel of Time over the winter break

Amazon releasing this blooper reel now seems part and parcel of their strategy to get people to check out the show over the long holiday break, encouraging people to either revisit it or take it in for the first time. And we're thankful they're making this push, because it means that we got to talk to cast members like Natasha O'Keeffe, Zoë Robins (Nynaeve), Ayoola Smart (Aviendha) and Kate Fleetwood (Liandrin).

So far as I'm concerned, The Wheel of Time is a show richly deserving of more exposure. The first season had a bit of a rocky reception, but the cast and crew tightened everything up for season 2. If you have some time for a sprawling fantasy epic over the new year's break, consider tuning in. Season 3 is already confirmed, although we don't have an exact release date yet.
