Take the Black: Early, SPOILER-FREE impressions of Sunday's new episode of House of the Dragon

This Sunday, HBO will mark the halfway point of House of the Dragon season 2 will a new episode that we're reasonably confident will knock your socks off your feet so hard and fast it'll take your feet with it. Obviously we can't spoil anything explicit, but we do pant breathlessly over the awesomeness to come on a new episode of Take the Black, our weekly podcast where we discuss all things sci-fi, fantasy, movies, books and TV. I've been enjoying the new season of House of the Dragon so far, but I feel like there has been a bit of spice missing. This next episode dumps a pot of cajun seasoning into the gumbo. I'm looking forward to seeing people's reaction to it.
Beyond House of the Dragon, I also spend some time rhapsodizing about my new favorite show Interview With The Vampire, which as far as I'm concerned deserves as many eyes on it as possible. They don't make 'em like this very often. And we also spare a few words for The Acolyte, bless its heart.
