Welcome to Take the Black, the show where we cover the latest goings-on in the worlds of sci-fi, fantasy, movies, books and TV. And there is a lot happening lately, so strap in.

First up, we make our weekly stop by Westeros, which is a hopping place now that we're only a few weeks out from the premiere of House of the Dragon season 2. But there are yet more Game of Thrones tomfoolery afoot, with author George R.R. Martin sharing some insights into the upcoming prequel series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and maybe even giving us a hint about The Winds of Winter, although any promises he makes on that score should be treated with skepticism.

Beyond Westeros, one of us got to see an early screening of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and is only too happy to talk about it. Watch our newest back-and-forth below!

And as always, we talk about What We're Watching and blaze through the WiC News Lightning Round. Hot and cold takes for all!

The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and YouTube Music! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.
