Take the Black: The 15 biggest sci-fi and fantasy shows of 2023, ranked worst to best

Another year, another rash of TV shows dancing across our screens over dinner, while you fold laundry, while you talk or game or text, or in some cases -- if they're good -- just for their own sake. We watched a lot of TV this year, and now we're here to break down the best, worst and the in between. It's time for us to rank the 15 biggest sci-fi and fantasy shows of the year, best to worst!

We've done this for a couple of years now on our chat show Take the Black, and I can say with complete humility that this year's show is not only our personal best, but the best of any such show of its kind.
