The second season of HBO's Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon is right around the corner, and the network is giving us more marketing to chew over. Below, stars Ewan Mitchell (Aemond Targaryen) and Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon II Targaryen) react to some of their scenes from the first season, which aired back in 2022. Watch them watch:

First up, Mitchell and Glynn-Carney watch the climatic scene of the season 1 finale, where Aemond Targaryen chases his nephew Lucerys Velaryon (Elliot Grihault) through the sky on his dragon Vhagar, eventually losing control of the beast and watching as it munches little Luke to bits.

"I think it's brilliant, that final little look that he has," Mitchell says of Aemond's shocked face. "Elliot Grihault, like the wisest kid that I've ever met. I feel really bad about it. It haunts my dreams."

And I can't move forward without acknowledging Mitchell's joke about how Aemond's eyepatch affects his depth perception. "Being at the toilet bowl, having a wee, it's quite difficult." ANYWAY...

Next up, the pair of actors watch a scene they starred in together: the bit from Episode 9, "The Green Council," where Aemond chases down Aegon, his brother, after their father King Viserys has died. Aegon is next in line to be king, but he doesn't want the position. "I bit Ewan on the hand, and spat in his face," Glynn-Carney remembers. "You suffer for your art, darling."

Finally, the pair watch the scene from "The Green Council" where Aegon is crowned king. Apparently the actual crown didn't quite fit Glynn-Carney's head. "It was a funny shape. It sort of, like, balanced on my head like a jaunty angle...So they put some rubber filling in it to make it fit properly."

I'm sure Aegon's half-sister Rhaenyra would take this as a sign that Aegon was unworthy to rule the Seven Kingdoms, but the two can fight it out once the new episodes start airing. "I was genuinely nervous of doing that. To be coronated," Glynn-Carney said.

And then, of course, Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best) crashes the coronation on her dragon Meleys, probably massacring hundreds of peasants before flying off to tell Rhaenyra what happened. "She never was able to read a room," Glynn-Carney quipped.

New episodes of House of the Dragon start airing on Sunday, June 16 on HBO and Max.
