In the season 2 finale of House of the Dragon, "The Queen Who Never Was," Tyland Lannister travels to Essos to treat with representatives of the Triarchy, an alliance between the Free Cities of Myr, Tyrosh and Lys. He's hoping to enlist their fleet of ships in helping break the Velaryon blockade of King's Landing, which is cutting off trade and food from the city. They agree...if Tyland can impress Admiral Sharako Lohar, who commands the fleet.

Impressing Sharako involves besting them in a mud-wrestling contest, which Tyland does, or at least enough that Sharako ends the fight and promises to set sail for the Gullet. Sharako seems to take a shine to Tyland, even saying that they'd like the Lannister emissary to sleep with their wives. We don't see what happens after that conversation, but I won't say I'm not curious.

If you were looking at Sharako and thinking, "Where have I seen them before," it might be because they're played by Abigail Thorn, better known by her YouTube handle PhilosophyTube, where she makes videos about politics, gender, philosophy (duh) and more. She's been at it for years, so there's a rich catalog to sift through if you're interested.

Thorn is also an actor who's appeared on stage and screen; she wrote a play called The Prince which she performed on stage in 2022, and recently appeared as Ensign Eurus in two episodes of Star Wars: The Acolyte. The House of the Dragon finale ends with Sharako and Tyland sailing off to the Gullet to confront Corlys Velaryon and his fleet, so Thorn will likely appear as Sharako again whenever the show returns for a third season, probably not until 2026.
