Every Sunday, we run through the biggest and best stories to appear on WinterIsComing.net over the past week. And this week, we published one of our biggest and best stories in the site's existence. May we present: our exclusive interview with A Song of Ice and Fire author and Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin!

In addition to Martin, we also spoke with his longtime artist collaborator Raya Golden. Their latest project together is a graphic novel called Voyaging, which adapts Martin's 1986 novella The Plague Star. We spoke with Golden about the future of this graphic novel series and how it came about in the first place, including a trip down memory lane to discuss one of Martin's most messed up stories, Meathouse Man:

The Witcher has another spinoff in the works, and now we know when we'll be watching it! Check out the new teaser for Sirens of the Deep:

The other week, George R.R. Martin came out and publicly criticized House of the Dragon, not a good look considering he wrote the source material. HBO is still sorting through the fallout:

I have an opinion on the Wicked movie, which is that splitting it into two movies is nonsense. Here's why:

The Penguin premiered on HBO and Max this week! We have a full, spoiler-free review for the series. It's a very good show:

We also reviewed the first of The Penguin episode in depth, if you want to spend even more time in Gotham:

While HBO was airing The Penguin this week, Marvel was kicking off spooky season with the two-episode premiere of Agatha All Along on Disney+:

We'll never pass up an opportunity to talk about Interview With The Vampire, one of the best shows on TV right now:

This week was Geeked Week at Netflix, which means we got a ton of new announcements. Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 is now in production! And it's also cast the beloved character Toph:

One Piece is expanding its cast! Joe Manganiello will play Mr. 0 aka Crocodile, and Lera Abova will play Miss All Sunday aka Nico Robin. Plus, we got our first glimpse at adorable reindeer guy Tony Tony Chopper:

Squid Game season 2 got a new teaser as well! It premieres on Netflix on December 26:

And last but not least, we also got the release schedule for the second and final season of Arcane, Netflix's Emmy-winning animated series based on the League of Legends video game:

Let's close things out with a few more exclusive interviews! The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is deep into its second season, and we spoke to actor Lloyd Owen about it! How will his iconic character Elendil navigate the power struggles in Númenor, and will he ever actually get together with Queen Regent Tar-Míriel?

We also spoke with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon writer Laura Snow about Daryl's journey and creating the show's second season, which premieres this week:

Circling back to George R.R. Martin, interviewing the author wasn't the only thing related to his works that we did during Glasgow Worldcon last month. We also had a chance to watch his short films based on the works of Howard Waldrop: Night of the Cooters, Mary Margaret Road-Grader, and The Ugly Chickens. We have some firsthand impressions to share:
