Winter is coming for Kit Harington in Game of Thrones: Legends game trailer

It's time to step into the shoes of Jon Snow, Rhaenyra Targaryen, and other beloved Game of Thrones universe characters with an exciting new game. From Zynga, the RPG mobile game Game of Thrones: Legends takes players on an enchanting journey through Westeros where they can assemble their dream team of fighters and schemers. With only two more episodes left of House of the Dragon season 2, this is the perfect way for fans to stay in the addicting world George R.R. Martin has created with a fun interactive twist!

And who better to promote Game of Thrones: Legends in a charming trailer than the former King in the North himself, Jon Snow? Alongside the launch this week, Zynga released a quick tease at what players can expect with an appearance from Kit Harington. The trailer, which you can watch below, opens up with the Emmy Award nominee declaring the memorable Stark motto: "Winter is coming." Harington prepares for battle as he enters a bar and sits down, showing fans what features the game comes with.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Game of Thrones-related trailer without a few more Game of Thrones jokes, and yes, it includes a "You know nothing, Jon Snow" reference. It's still funny, okay? As Harington deals with his first defeat in the game, a woman sitting at the bar next to him begins to utter the iconic line before being interrupted by Harington. She manages to get the full line out, but Harington's got the upper hand, showing her his phone screen as he pulls a "Dracarys" on his enemies. Who doesn't want to battle it out on a dragon? If you're a fan of mobile games, this seems like a great one!

So let's get into what Game of Thrones: Legends actually entails. Per the press release from Zynga, this is an RPG puzzle game in which players can take on the role of various Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon characters, assembling a Westeros house to try and fight off impending threats. One mission, as seen in the trailer, is the journey to win the Long Night battle against the White Walkers. Below is the list of key features you can expect:

• "Complete missions throughout Westeros in a journey to claim the Iron Throne;
• Build and upgrade an iconic team featuring champions like Jon Snow, Rhaenyra Targaryen, the Hound, Ser Criston Cole, Drogon, Arya Stark, and Ghost;
• Showcase strategic prowess in epic RPG puzzle battles;
• Lead your own house of Westeros showing off personalized houses and powerful allies;
• Diversify puzzle battle strategy with champion pairings to conquer different game modes and enemies;
• Leverage lore to discover champion, weapon, and gear synergies – for instance, pair up Jon Snow and Ghost or have Arya equip Needle;
• Execute moves, charge special abilities, and discover powerful combos to obliterate opponents."
