Scarlett Johansson has lost her spot as the highest-grossing actor of all time, thanks to Avatar: Fire and Ash. Ever since James Cameron's latest sci-fi epic made billions at the box office, Johansson's MCU co-star and Avatar lead actress, Zoe Saldaña, has taken the top spot by around $69 million.
Saldaña's lead acting credits have earned her over $15.47 billion at the box office across only 33 films, and her highest-grossing feature is the first Avatar movie, released in 2009. Meanwhile, the 36 movies Johansson has starred in have grossed only $15.401 billion, with Avengers: Endgame her highest-grossing feature. Many of the people listed in the Top 10 are MCU stars, including Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Vin Diesel, and Chris Evans. Other celebrities outside the MCU that have made it to the Top 10 include Tom Cruise and Dwayne Johnson.
For those hoping for Saldaña and Johansson to return to the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday, don't count on it. Johansson has said in an interview with Vanity Fair that she isn't interested in reprising her role as Black Widow, as she believes "her story is complete" and didn't want to "mess with that" for the fans. Meanwhile, Saldaña or any of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast members are not confirmed to return, along with other MCU stars like Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, Jackson's Nick Fury, and Iman Vellani's Ms. Marvel.

What are Zoe Saldaña's highest-grossing films?
Saldaña's acting career began in 1999, and since then, she has starred in numerous projects, many of which became box-office hits. Many of Saldaña's highest-grossing films are MCU titles, which include Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, but also included in her top 10 highest-grossing features are the Avatar trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and Star Trek Into Darkness. As of writing, Saldaña's lowest-grossing film is 2009's The Skeptic, which grossed over $6.6 thousand during its limited theatrical release.
