It's going to be a blood bath in the Two Rivers this week on The Wheel of Time. The penultimate episode of the third season of Prime Video's fantasy series premieres tomorrow, and it will bring a highly-anticipated part of Robert Jordan's book The Shadow Rising to the screen: the Battle of the Two Rivers, when Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford) leads the people of the idyllic Two Rivers into battle against an army of ferocious Trollocs. "Goldeneyes" is a moment fans have been waiting a long, long time to see.

The people of the Two Rivers won't stand alone, though. We're thrilled to reveal an exclusive clip from Episode 307, where the Aes Sedai Alanna (Priyanka Bose) and her Warder Maksim (Taylor Napier) help get the Two Rivers folk ready for battle. Check it out, then we'll discuss:

"The old blood runs deep in these mountains"

During last week's episode, "The Shadow in the Night," Alanna and Maksim discovered that Mat Cauthon's two younger sisters, Bode (Litiana Biutanaseva) and Eldrin (Lilibet Biutanaseva), are able to channel the One Power. In this clip, we see Alanna start to train them to control it properly — while the village's new Wisdom, Daise Congar (Mandi Symonds), watches. Since Daise can see Alanna's weaves of magic, that means she too has access to the One Power. The people of the Two Rivers have hidden depths!

Meanwhile, Maksim tries to train some of the men of the village to use poisoned spears in a proper battle line, but he gets an earful from Cenn Buie (Gregory Gudgeon), one of the crabby elderly villagers who never misses a chance to start a row. I cackled when Cenn called Maksim "boy," before being herded off to get his long bow and prove he's not just talk. Needless to say, it doesn't instill Maksim with confidence.

The cast and crew of The Wheel of Time have long been teasing "Goldeneyes," which will likely be one of the standout episodes of the season. Here's hoping it goes better for the people of the Two Rivers than Maksim thinks it will.

The Wheel of Time season 3 Episode 7 premieres this Thursday, April 10 on Prime Video at 12 am PT / 3 am ET. Prepare for battle!
