Follow along to find out what happens next in the second episode of the season titled, "The Devil You Woe."

Major spoilers are ahead from Wednesday season 2 episode 2.

Wednesday finds Galpin's dead body

When Wednesday finally regains consciousness, she finds herself in the gardener’s cottage with her mother by her side. Black tears once again stream down her face, and Morticia explains they’re the result of psychic exhaustion. Wednesday asks how to make them stop, but instead of offering comfort, Morticia urges her to hand over Goody’s book of spells. Wednesday refuses and walks out.

Later that day, Wednesday shows up at Donovan Galpin’s house. Shaken by the unsettling vision involving Enid, she’s determined to learn more about the case he had been working on with Carl Bradbury. She's convinced there’s a connection. But when she walks through the door, she’s met with a gruesome sight. Galpin’s lifeless body is found slumped in his recliner.

As Wednesday stares into his open mouth, a swarm of crows erupts from it. It appears he's been murdered in the same way that Bradbury was killed. Wednesday reaches out to use her psychic ability on him, but nothing happens. To her horror, it seems her powers are gone. She tries to leave the house quickly, but Sheriff Santiago catches her and brings her to the station for questioning. Luckily, Gomez shows up and takes her home.

Pugsley tells Eugene about his new zombie

At the end of the first episode, Pugsley unintentionally brings the boy with the clockwork heart back to life using his electrical powers. Now the boy is a zombie. The next morning, Eugene meets Pugsley in the Hummers Shed, where the reanimated boy is being kept. Though Eugene is clearly unsettled, Pugsley persuades him to keep the zombie a secret. Pugsley names him Slurp.

Prank Day

Still rattled by her recent vision of Enid’s death, one that seemed to implicate her, Wednesday becomes increasingly convinced that it’s tied to the mysterious crows that keep appearing around town. But she chooses not to tell Enid, afraid it would only send her into a panic. After being pranked by Enid in their dorm, Wednesday finds one of Galpin's eyeballs lying on Enid's pillow. She thinks one of the crows brought it over. Enid starts receiving texts from an anonymous number. One of the texts reads, "I SEE YOU WEDNESDAY. I WILL NOT BE IGNORED."

Wednesday tells Enid to call the number back, and it turns out to be Galpin's phone number. But Wednesday knows it can't be him because he's dead. She believes it's his killer. Enid starts freaking out and packing her things while telling Wednesday that she'd like to be left out of her new murder investigation. Wednesday tries to get her to stay, but Enid tells her that she has a driver's ed lesson later on that day. After Enid leaves, Wednesday attempts to test out her psychic ability again by touching the eyeball. However, nothing happens. It seems she has really lost her ability.

Later on, Wednesday leaves her dorm to speak with Principal Dort and Dr. Orloff. She asks them if they know of any student or faculty member who can control birds (Avian). Dr. Orloff tells her that the school hasn't had an Avian enrolled for at least 10 years. He and Principal Dort then walk away.

Elsewhere at the school, Bianca tries to get Morticia to reach out to her mom, Hester Frump, for a large donation for Nevermore Academy. However, Morticia refuses to do so because of their estranged relationship. Bianca reports to Principal Dort, who then tells her to use her siren song to persuade her. She shows up later on Morticia's doorstep and does exactly that.

Wednesday visits Tyler at Willow Hill

In need of information about Galpin, Wednesday makes her way to Willow Hill asylum to confront Tyler/the Hyde. That's where he's being kept. Galpin was his father. Meanwhile, in her absence, Morticia retrieves Goody’s book of spells from Thing. Before Wednesday is able to meet Tyler, she has to talk to the receptionist Judi first. Dr. Fairburn, the chief psychiatrist of the asylum, then arrives and leads her to Tyler's cell.

As they walk, Dr. Fairburn informs Wednesday that Marilyn Thornhill is being held at a separate facility. If you recall from the first season, Marilyn is Tyler's master. Dr. Fairburn tells Wednesday that the methods she's been using to try to rehabilitate Tyler have not been working, and she hopes that she can help her out. Wednesday is then left in a room with a chained-up Tyler.

Wednesday tells Tyler about his father’s death and reveals that someone else close to their family met the same grim fate. She hopes the news will rattle him enough to provoke a confession. But Tyler doesn't tell her anything. Tyler then tries to make Wednesday mad by telling her that he's going to kill Enid the next time he sees her, but Wednesday doesn't let him see her sweat. She makes fun of him and his predicament before leaving.

Wednesday discovers the identity of her stalker

Back at Nevermore, Pugsley finds out from Eugene that Slurp has escaped from the Hummer's Shed. Uh oh! Meanwhile, Enid and her new love interest Bruno find themselves kidnapped. Wednesday arrives back at her dorm and discovers Thing trapped in a chest. After she frees him, she hears Enid's phone vibrating somewhere on the floor. She picks up the phone and answers it. It's her stalker! The mysterious stalker tells Wednesday she has 30 minutes to find and rescue Enid before they kill her.

Enid and Bruno wake up to find themselves chained up in Iago Tower. Enid initially thinks that Ajax is pranking her, but that changes when a knife suddenly falls from the ceiling to the floor near her and Bruno. They both look up to find a bunch of knives hanging from the ceiling. Wednesday needs to hurry up! Using a cryptic note the stalker left, Wednesday figures it out and finds her way to Iago Tower.

Upon arrival, she instructs Thing to pick the locks securing Enid and Bruno. However, Thing inadvertently triggers a trap, causing the knives to descend from the ceiling. After Wednesday solves another deadly puzzle, the knives halt movement, and Enid and Bruno are able to be rescued. Wednesday's stalker then reveals themselves. It's a 13-year-old outcast student named Agnes DeMille, aka Wednesday's biggest fan. She has the power of invisibility.

Wednesday immediately accuses Agnes of killing Galpin, but Agnes insists she had nothing to do with his death. She only wanted to be her friend. Agnes then hands over Galpin’s cellphone, which she had taken from his house. When Wednesday demands to know who the real killer is, Agnes admits she doesn’t know. But she offers to help her uncover the truth.

Wednesday returns to her dorm and talks to Thing. She then goes to look for Goody's book, but it's nowhere to be found. Thing comes clean and tells her that Morticia took it. Wednesday then runs outside and sees the one-eyed crow flying away.

Elsewhere, Slurp is shown walking through the woods near campus. As he stops in the middle of the road, Enid's driver's ed teacher accidentally hits him with his car. The teacher quickly gets out to investigate, but Slurp is nowhere in sight. Just as he turns to head back to his vehicle, Slurp suddenly appears and starts eating him alive. That's how the second episode ends.

Wednesday season 2 part 1 is now streaming on Netflix.
