That’s a wrap on the wrap party: pics from the show’s end-of-filming celebration

Technically, filming on Game of Thrones Season 6 isn’t over—poor Miguel Sapochnik, whose directing the finale, will be shooting his episodes for two more days—but things are basically complete. The cast and crew held a wrap party over the weekend at the Ulster Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland, long the nerve center for Game of Thrones shooting. We posted one pic, an Instagram photo of Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner taken by Emilia Clarke, a couple days ago, but there are others floating around out there. The one above, for instance, was taken by Twitter user Dale McCrossan, who was lucky enough to snap Arya, Sansa, and Daenerys in the same place. Oh, that’ll be the day…

Williams and Turner were everywhere that night. By all accounts, the party was a fun affair: HBO even built a set for the occasion.

Clarke, Williams, and Turner weren’t the only stars in attendance. There were reports of Kit Harington in the area around this time period, and at least one fan claimed to have seen him at the party.

Make of that what you will and believe it as you will. At this point, though, if a photo of Kit Harington partying with the rest of the cast and crew were to surface, we really shouldn’t be surprised. Beyond the leaks from the set, HBO has basically let the cat out of the bag by featuring the character heavily in promotional posters and teasers.

Anyway, congratulations on the cast and crew for getting through another season. Now we wait for the press barrage to being in the new year.
