Take the Black Podcast: Game of Thrones Season 6 Preview
Here we are, just one day away from the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere, and our panel on Take the Black is beyond excited to get the season started. It feels like we’ve had a long offseason, filled with hair watches, filming leaks, and rumors of fan-favorite characters returning to the show.
It’s been a lot of fun, preparing for Season 6, but now it’s time to get down to the real questions at hand: Is Jon Snow going to be resurrected? Will Dany cross the Narrow Sea? Will Sansa finally shed the victim label and become the powerplayer we all want her to be? We ask all these questions and more, on this episode of Take the Black, with our Game of Thrones Season 6 preview.
There is a new addition to our panel for this season. Cory Thone from the Season 5 Take the Black finale will be permanently joining us. However, there are still the tried and true voices that you’ve come to know and love…or loath—Myself, Isis, and Ani.
As is usual for us, Take the Black leans a tad bit on the NSFW side. And, as always, we try to keep things as spoiler-free and Unsullied-friendly as possible (Isis and Cory haven’t read the books). At this point in the Game of Thrones story, book-readers and show-watchers are all in the same boat, so far as knowing what comes next is concerned. But there are some SPOILERS peppered throughout, especially towards the end. Consider yourself warned.
