5. Arya’s Braavosi Girl Look
It was a huge moment for Arya this season to take those clothes she been wearing ever since the end of Season 1 and trade them in for new ones. But she didn’t just trade them in. She threw them off the edge of the dock in front of The House of Black and White. But it wasn’t until Arya was allowed to become someone else that she finally got an outfit worth looking at. Arya’s Braavosi girl outfit wasn’t just a brand new look, it was one that took a step forward in defining Braavos. The hairstyle of the top buns was both eye-catching and utterly foreign to ones we’ve seen elsewhere in the Seven Kingdoms, or in Essos. Her woven bolero jacket and full skirt with the netting accessory took inspiration from 19th century Russia, a completely different fashion palate from anywhere else. It was one of the most striking looks of the season.
