Actor Ricky Champ cast in Game of Thrones Season 6

We have a bit of interesting Game of Thrones Season 6 casting news for you all. Actor Ricky Champ (Mortdecai and The Worlds End), has been cast as Flynn. Here’s a brief description of the role, which was described when the casting list leaked a few weeks ago:

"Flynn: He’s part of an outlaw band. The group is using religion to justify terrorizing and extorting what they need from the people of the countryside. He appears in 2 episodes in season 6. He appears to be part of Lachlan’s band."

Mr. Champ has done quite a bit of television and a few more films that I’ve not heard of, but here’s an acting reel from his casting agency, Waring & McKenna.

Now, do we think Flynn and his gang of misguided outlaws are part of a Riverlands story? With a Septon Meribald- type character being cast as well, that’s an easy conclusion to draw.

"Priest, in his 40’s or 50’s. A gruff ex-soldier who found religion. Now a no-nonsense rural priest who ministers to the poor of the countryside. He’s salt-of-the-earth man who has weathered many battles."

Better yet, Ricky Champ could be a member of the long forgotten Brotherhood without Banners. You remember the BwB, right? Their leader was the six-time resurrected Lord Beric Dondarrion, who in the books gives his life to bring back a certain Lady with a heart of stone. Of course, this is all extremely wild speculation, and it makes more sense that Champ could be part of a band of outlaws who are considered broken men…men left to wander the countryside in the aftermath of the War of the Five Kings. Hopefully we’ll see even more actors announced in the very near future.
