Why be in one big major franchise when you can be in two? That seems to be the question every actor and actress is asking themselves these days. Game of Thrones performers are no exception. To start, we’ve got Sophie Turner in X-Men, Maisie Williams in Doctor Who, and Natalie Dormer in The Hunger Games. Then there’s Gwendoline Christie, who’s starring is not only The Hunger Games alongside Dormer, but also in the franchise that started it all: Star Wars. As our Dork Side of the Force readers know, the news had been just pouring out on that front today, including a photo of Christie in costume.

She’s very shiny, as Firefly fans would say.

Meanwhile, the good folks at the BBC have dropped the second Doctor Who trailer for the upcoming season. Maisie Williams isn’t featured quite as prominently this time, but we do get to see her out of her Midnight Marauder costume, and it looks like she’s taking hair tips from stylists in Essos.

And finally, Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger) is starring in the latest installment of The Maze Runner, where he can be creepy while lording it over a group of young men, instead of just lording it over Sansa, who now has psychic powers and is running around with a nice young Cyclopes anyway.

In addition to Gillan, who appears to have raised the timber of his voice way up from Littlefinger levels, watch out for Thomas “Jojen Reed” Brodie-Sangster in the latest Maze Runner trailer.
