Arya Stark Practicing for “Assassin’s Creed: Westeros”

SuperStark! Able to leap tall building in a single bound! She’s bouncing through Braavos like Ezio through Rome!

Well, ok, to be fair, it’s not Maisie William’s Arya Stark they’ve captured. It’s her stunt double.

That Assassin’s Creed reference isn’t too far off, though. According to The Independent, the source who took those videos compared the stunt double’s work to the popular video game series.

The show may be working hard to keep Maisie Williams away from prying cameras, but they’re not taking quite so many precautions with Benioff and Weiss. (That might be because they’re A: not in costume and B: it’s not a spoiler if we see them because we’re not trying to debate how long they’ll stay blind for.) This picture comes via Los Siete Reinos.

They also have video that shows that whatever is happening in the Braavosi market place, there’s a lot of smoke as well.

Meanwhile, new areas of the Braavos region are continuing to go up:

But, lest you think that all the excitement is in Braavos, we have interesting new pictures from El Punt Avui of extras who are definitely dressed like characters we’ve seen in King’s Landing. They were tucked away in their ever growing treasure trove of pictures from filming, mixed in with photos of tons of extras in Braavosi style costumes.

Though these costume designs and hairstyles are clearly Braavosi…

…these look much more like the styles we see in King’s Landing.

Especially that sack-style dress and the piled up hair. And then we saw these guys.

Unless the High Sparrow has decided to send his flock across the Narrow Sea and found a new chapter of vicious evangelical monks (which I highly doubt), these are definitely extras for scenes in King’s Landing. We should note that this is one of the benefits of shifting filming to Girona. Last year, Dubrovnik had to be completely turned over from Braavos to King’s Landing before they could film. Girona, on the other hand, because it’s not a small area that’s foot traffic only, can have multiple continents set up for filming at the same time. It does make for interesting cross-over potential, though. Arya might accidentally leap from one continent to another in a single bound. (Perhaps that’s why there are rumors of her returning to Westeros this season?)
