This is only for fans in the US, though. Viewers in the UK can rewatch ‘The Magician’s Apprentice’ on BBC iPlayer. Apparently BBC America is only doing this for the premiere, so don’t expect a YouTube post every week. Still, it’s a great opportunity to rewatch the episode if you didn’t DVR it, or to watch it for the first time if you don’t subscribe to BBC America.
Strangely, though, BBC America still haven’t posted the Series 9 prequel, ‘The Doctor’s Meditation.’ It was shown in theaters last week with the Doctor Who: Dark Water/Death in Heaven 3D event and then broadcast on BBC America Friday evening, but it hasn’t been officially uploaded for US fans anywhere. British fans able to watch it on YouTube, Facebook, and Amazon. At any rate, it’s certainly not required viewing in order to enjoy the premiere, but it was a fun little mini-episode.
