John Barrowman is a very busy man.
As with most Whovians, we at Doctor Who Watch love to keep tabs on what is going on in the careers of the alumni of Doctor Who and spinoffs. One of our favorite people to follow is the dynamic John Barrowman.
On Wednesday, December second, 2015, John Barrowman did one of his popular live Facebook broadcasts, updating his fans on what is going on in his career. You can watch it here. Subsequent updates can be found here, here, and here. Some of the announcements are rather vague, but exciting nonetheless. He admitted to being a big tease, but for legal reasons, of course. For those of you who do not have the time or are not inclined to wade through all of his posts (you’ll be missing out on some entertaining stuff), the following is a summary of what he had to say:
More from Doctor Who
- Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor Who Christmas special is a “complete reinvention”
- Ncuti Gatwa is “so nervous” to take on Doctor Who role
- The Doctor and Donna are better than ever in “Wild Blue Yonder”
- Take the Black: House of the Dragon season 2 trailer hints, the Fallout show, and more
- Jodie Whittaker didn’t pick up on any of the hate for her version of the Doctor
“Now, here is the big one!” Barrowman knows how much his fans love to hear him sing. His goal is to do a concert tour in the United States, but he needs our help. He has had a meeting with the U.S. division of his agency. They do not think, despite his touring success in the United Kingdom, that there will be enough demand for such a tour in the U.S. due to local promoters not knowing that he has a music career. This is where we, the fans, come in. Email him at
if you would like to see him perform in the following cities: New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Orlando (the last stated in the
, but not posted in the
version of the list). Put the city in the subject line, and then your name, email address, and optional other contact info in the body. Please note, this email address is for gathering demographic and contact information only,
