Let’s move on to another “when we last saw our heroes.” The Jorah and Daario Bro Show is On the Road.
Just don’t let Jorah think he rides in front.
A nice sequence of shots: one of Dany’s ring, which we saw her strategically drop at in the finale, followed by one were we can see the greyscale has infected Jorah’s fingernail.
Jorah doesn’t actually have a psychic link with Dany, much as he would wish it. It’s just good editing.
This is a great callback to the beginning of Season 5 and Arya’s arrival in Braavos, when she passed under the enormous statue gate in awe and trepidation. The horse statues tell us we’re back in Vaes Dothrak, as in Season 1.
