Doctor Who: Titan Comics to Team Up the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctors Against Cybermen

Fifty years ago, one of the most recognizable foes on Doctor Who, the Cybermen, made their first appearance. That anniversary is being commemorated with a new crossover comic series from Titan Comics.

Titan Comics has a special place in the Whoniverse. They have made numerous Doctor Who comics, with different crossovers and new companions entering the lore of the program. Titan, along with Big Finish, has helped expand the world of Doctor Who beyond the scope that television alone could have.

Coming this summer, they have a new crossover comic coming out. With the 50th anniversary of the first appearance of the Cybermen being celebrated this year, Titan Comics is getting into the festivities. In a five part series called ‘Supremacy of the Cybermen,’ the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctors will be teaming up to take on their old enemies.

More from Doctor Who

In this new series, the Cybermen have become even more of a threat. Having captured Rassilon, the deposed leader of the Time Lords, the Cybermen now have access to time travel. All of those previous defeats have now changed, as the Cybermen have been able to go back to those moments and change the tide of battle and history. Now, everyone is either dead or upgraded, as the Cybermen have spread across the universe.

This is what the four Doctors must face. As they team up to stop the new Cyberman Menace, they must also look to save Rassilon, who has been a bit of thorn in the Doctor’s side over the years. This may lead to a dilemma – to save Rassilon or leave him to his fate with the Cybermen.

This new series from Titan Comics certainly appears as though it will be a fascinating read. The combination of the four Doctors alone will be great to see, and adding in time travelling Cybermen will just make this even better.
