Doctor Who: Ralf Little Makes Funny Video of Himself in the TARDIS
By Leah Tedesco
The BBC has shared a cute prank video regarding Ralf Little and his upcoming appearance in Series Ten of Doctor Who.
Despite both the Twitter leak and the official announcement that Ralf Little will be in Series Ten of Doctor Who, he has recently “categorically” denied that he will be on the show at all… Well, he hasn’t really. What he has done is make a cleverly ironic video employing the technique of denying that something is true while everything happening around you indicates otherwise.
Check it out:

- Ncuti Gatwa is “so nervous” to take on Doctor Who role

The video starts out with Little against a black background, speaking with a deadpan sincerity as he addresses the “rumors” about his involvement with the show. About twenty seconds in, as he steps into the TARDIS, we realize that it is all a gag. He continues by stating that not only has he “never visited the set” and “never met the actors,” but that he has “never seen Doctor Who” and that he “know[s] nothing about it.” His real motivation is to hang out” with the viewers in his “vehicle” that is “sort of bigger inside than it looks from the outside.” A chameleon circuit reference is even dropped.
Anyway, getting back to “reality,” Little’s past involvement in the world of Doctor Who was when he voiced the character of Guy Fawkes for the video game The Gunpowder Plot. The only thing that we know at this point about Little’s character in Series Ten is that his name is Steadfast. Two other new additions to the cast — whose characters, judging by their names, will probably be introduced in the same episode as Little’s — are Mina Anwar as Goodthing and Kaizer Akhtar as Praiseworthy. Anwar previously played Gita Chandra in the Doctor Who spinoff The Sarah Jane Adventures.
