The Westworld Theme sounds surprisingly good as a hip hop remix.
We’ve seen a lot of versions of the Westworld Theme. If you search YouTube you can find thousands of piano covers of the now iconic theme music to HBO’s newest hit series. So it takes quite a lot to stand out from the crowd when it comes to Westworld Theme covers.
One of the ways to stand out is to do something completely unique with the music. We’ve seen Western style covers of the Westworld Theme, a bunch of piano covers, acoustic renditions, and even a truly metal cover, so it should come as no surprise that a hip hop remix has now hit the internet.
You might not think that a hip hip version of the Westworld Theme would work, but YouTuber Michael Badon has made it work. You’ve really got to hear this to believe it.
It’s not my favorite Westworld Theme cover of all time, but it works, it really works. I might have to add it to my workout music rotation now.
The Train Theme from Westworld has also gotten a hip hop remix or two.
It’s just awesome to see all the incredible music that Westworld has inspired. The creativity of the Westworld storytelling is continuing to inspire great fan creations months after the first season has ended. Hopefully we get even more amazing offical and unoffical music in season 2 of Westworld. The wait for that elusive and distant second season of Westworld doesn’t seem quite as far away thanks to these new tunes.
