Euron Greyjoy gets up to no good
We didn’t see a ton of Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones season 6. He murdered his brother Balon, won the Kingsmoot over Yara, and spent the rest of the season offscreen building his thousand ships. It sounds like he’ll make a bigger splash this year. When MTV News asked actor Pilou Asbæk how much hell Euron will raise in season 7, he answered, “Enough to get satisfied — good satisfied.”
Here’s a sample of the hell to come:
- Euron will team up with Cersei, although we’re not sure if the alliance is sealed with a marriage or if it’s just a strategic pact. With so many people aligning against her, lord knows Cersei needs allies.
- He’ll engage in a battle at sea against Theon, Yara, and the Dornish. He wins.
It’s unclear where Daenerys and the Tyrells are during this sea battle battle. After all, both of them are ostensibly allies with Theon, Yara, and Dorne. In any case, all of this happens early in the season.
Because filming a sea battle would have involved a lot of green screen and interior work, we don’t have any photographic proof of it. We do, however, have photos of the aftermath…
