Thandie Newton Joins The Actors Who Have Finished Filming
Just a short time ago, Thandie Newton posted on her Instagram account to give us an update about her schedule. Don’t expect to find any spoilers about her role as Maeve Millay who became sentient and escaped the park. Instead, Newton briefly talked about how much work she put into her role and how grateful she was for the experience. Here is what she had to say:
"Guess who just wrapped #Westworld Season 2!Exhausted but so f*****g grateful for the ride of my life. And the love I feel for my #Westworld tribe has no limits. We proved that to each other every day. Blessed. And soon we get to share it with whoever tunes in xT"
When Thandie Newton said “ride of my life” she means it. Her character, Maeve Millay, went from brothel to hostile after gained consciousness. The scene during the finale where she escaping to the outside world proved that she is one host (or human?) you don’t want to mess with.
But she also mentions how much of joy it was work with the other members of the cast. We’ve seen from some the behind the scenes photos from Clifton Collins Jr and other members that they are a tight knit group. The bonds they share in their photos emerge when they appear onscreen. We look forward to seeing what the cast has in store for Westworld Season 2.
