Kit Harington and other Game of Thrones stars are filming scenes for season 8 in [SPOILER]

We have some new set pictures of an important cast member — maybe two — in costume on the set of season 8. Read no further if you don’t want to be exposed to SPOILERS.

Okay. A couple days back, a fan spotted Kit Harington (Jon Snow) in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where the production has been quietly loading in props and dressing sets for about a week. Traditionally, Dubrovnik has stood in for King’s Landing, and fans were wondering what Jon Snow might be doing there in season 8. However, there was no photographic proof, so we couldn’t be sure of anything.

We can be more sure now. DubrovnikNet and 24 Sata have posted a bevy of images showing Harington, in costume as Jon Snow, on set in Dubrovnik. Take a look:

After wearing his hair in a tight bun for most of season 7, fans may be pleased to see Harington’s locks once again flowing in the breeze.

These scenes were reportedly filmed at Dubrovnik’s Minčeta Tower, which is part of the city walls. It was built in 1463. It certainly looks fit for King’s Landing.

Below is one of the more intriguing pics. With whom is Jon walking?

The guy next to Jon is dressed in black, which makes me think he’s from the Night’s Watch, but pretty much everyone was wearing dark colors in season 7, so there’s no guarantee.

One image shows a figure silhouetted in an archway some fans think may be Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen. What do you make of it?

"Is this Dany or Nah from freefolk"

Clarke was in Italty for the past few days, but recently left.

The figure DOES seem to sport blonde hair, a dark outfit, and a chain across their front. It looks similar to what Daenerys was wearing last season:

However, it could have just been a trick of the light. Below, we see a decidedly male figure in a little further down the stairs. He’s also wearing a dark outfit and has something shiny across his chest, and his bald head could have looked like blonde hair in the dim light.

It’s a mystery. Draw your own conclusions:

"So i’m ome of those almost certainly seeing Daenerys? Dragon chain, dress and boots look pretty similar… from freefolk"

UPDATE: Another photo, this one from Jutarnji List, showed another angle on someone who may be Emilia Clarke. Notice the blonde woman wearing glasses in the center of the frame:

It’s still inconclusive, though. Maybe Zapp Brannigan can help us out:

"MRW I’m examining the new Dubrovnik set leaks and trying to glean every last little detail [GIF] from freefolk"

However, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane) has up and posted a picture of himself dining in Dubrovnik, so he’s definitely in town:

Makes you wonder if Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) isn’t nearby, no?

Whatever actors are on set, we know that director David Nutter was there as of yesterday. Nutter is directing Episodes 1, 2 and 4. That’s him in the middle below:

So at minimum, Jon Snow will be in King’s Landing in Episodes 1, 2 and/or 4 — probably 4, given that he was headed back north the last time we saw him. What do you guys make of all this?
