Betty Gabriel will make her debut as Maling in Westworld Season 2, but where have you seen her before?
Westworld Season 2 welcomes many new faces to the cast, many of whom you’ve surely heard of. Actors like Hiroyuki Sanada, Jonathan Tucker and Gustaf Skarsgard have lengthy filmographies, but what of the other lesser-known actors? Well, you’re in luck! We will tell you everything you need to know about Westworld’s fresh faces before the show returns in April.
We are particularly thrilled to welcome the wonderful Betty Gabriel in Season 2. Gabriel is set to play a character named Maling, who will attempt to restore order to the park. Based on her character synopsis, we can assume she works for Delos. The hosts will, no doubt, join Dolores in her campaign. So, this means Maling will likely be a human. But, if that’s the case, she has quite the task ahead of her. Dolores leads an impressive force, who are likely to give no quarter to the humans.
As for Gabriel, she is a wonderful addition to the already impressive cast. Sure, Betty Gabriel might not be a household name yet, but she soon will be. Let’s take a look at Gabriel’s rise to fame over the last few years, as we highlight her short but incredible career.

Where Have You Seen Westworld Season 2 Newcomer Betty Gabriel Before?
Betty Gabriel was born in Washington DC and was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Hyattsville, Maryland. When she moved to Chicago, she began her acting career and would later attend Julliard. She made her film acting debut in 2009 but wouldn’t get a major role until the 2016 horror sequel,
Purge: Election Year
.
Her next big role was as Denise in the critically acclaimed Amazon series, Good Girls Revolt. Last year, she received critical and audience praise for her breakout role as Georgina in Jordan Peele’s incredibly successful film, Get Out. She didn’t have much screen time; however, her scenes were impactful and haunting. In a cast that included some established character actors, Gabriel’s performance in Get Out was one of the best. She also appeared in the sci-fi action sequel Beyond Skyline that premiered late last year.
Hopefully, we will learn more about Westworld Season 2 and more information about Gabriel’s role moving forward. We still have a few months until Westworld Season 2 drops. Until then, we will continue to speculate on anything and everything Westworld.
