Weâve seen many images from Westworld Season 2; however, HBO released new photos that give us our first look at new characters.
Weâve seen quite a bit of footage from Westworld Season 2; however, they still havenât revealed much. HBO has been very careful about revealing any spoilers or pertinent information. In fact, they didnât even feature any of the new characters in any of the trailers (the exception being the Shogunworld footage at SXSW 2018).
Thankfully, HBO recently dropped a bunch of new Season 2 stills seemingly out of nowhere. These new images give us different looks at our favorite characters, but they also introduce some new ones. In fact, we finally got our first look at Westworld newcomers Fares Fares, Betty Gabriel and Gustaf Skarsgard. Without further ado, letâs look at the glossy new photos from Westworld Season 2.

Teddy and Dolores on horseback

This image is similar to the promo picture released for Season 2, but itâs still quite different. Teddy and Dolores are seemingly overlooking the park, but we donât have much context. We assume that this image takes place after their initial rampage; however, we canât know for sure. In any case, weâre glad that the two of them are together and wreaking havoc in
Westworld
Season 2.
Angela returns for Season 2

The lovely and talented Talulah Riley is back in Season 2, and this time, sheâs a series regular. We didnât see much of her character Angela in Season 1, but
in the new season. In the picture, she looks elegant as always, but weâre pretty sure this is a flashback. Sheâs wearing the same dress as she was in the
trailer where she is interacting with Logan
(Ben Barnes). Hopefully, weâll get to see her wreck shop in present day alongside Dolores.
Lee Sizemore and Maeve explore Delos

Weâve seen images and clips of Maeve and
before, so this image doesnât tell us much. The two are making their way through Delos after the hosts have laid waste to the staff. For now, we know that Lee is Maeveâs hostage, but beyond that, itâs likely he worms his way back into Delosâ arms. We know that Maeve is destined for greatness, and will eventually meet up with Dolores â which we canât wait to see.
The Man In Black surveys the park

There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the
, and to be honest, this picture doesnât tell us much. Heâs standing alone, holding a canteen and a book. Sure, there are a few bodies at his feet, but thatâs really nothing new. Hopefully, we will learn more about his journey in Season 2, but for now, weâre just happy that Ed Harris is back for Season 2
Maeve sports a new look

Oh hey, Itâs Maeve again! She does, however, look very different than she did in her picture with Lee Sizemore. Sheâs sporting a more laid-back look, which includes some fancy new frontier clothes and braided hair. This is the same outfit she wore in the
Entertainment Weekly exclusive
sneak peek photos where she was with Dolores. This could mean that this is the look she adopts after she joins the host rebellion.
First look at new Season 2 character Antoine Costa

We previously reported that Fares Fares would be joining the cast of Westworld Season 2 as a tech expert named Antoine Costa. We assumed he would work for Delos, and based on the image, it appears we were correct. It looks like Costa is assisting a Delos tactical team, who were probably deployed in the wake of Deloresâ rebellion. This is surprising, because for the first time, we see that Delos isnât rolling over for Dolores. They mean to fight back and reclaim their property. Well, we wish them luck, because they are going to need it.
First look at Maling and Karl Strand alongside Stubbs and Bernard

More
Westworld
Season 2 newcomers! Thatâs right, we finally get our first look at
Vikings
star
Gustaf Skarsgard as Karl Strand
. Heâs accompanied by
Betty Gabrielâs character Maling
, but they arenât alone. Stubbs and Bernard are along for the ride, and by the looks of it, both of our new cast members will work for Delos. We know
Bernard hasnât pledged his allegiance to either side
, but heâs teamed up with the humans in this pic.
Charlotte Hale and Bernard looking intense

Tessa Thompson is back as Charlotte Hale in Season 2, but we donât know what her role will be. Itâs obvious sheâll side with the humans and Delos, but her first goal is to make it out alive. In the picture, sheâs with Bernard at Delos HQ. This appears to be the same place where Bernard was interacting with the Drone Host in the teaser trailer. They could be somewhere else, of course. But, itâs a fair assessment given what weâve seen from the trailers.
Dolores in her powder blue prairie dress and bandolier

This image of Dolores truly captures the
. Sure, sheâs wearing her lovely powder blue prairie dress, but she looks determined. She certainly looks like someone you wouldnât want to come across on your vacation. As far as context, we donât know when this takes place. But, based on the recent SXSW footage, this is probably in the middle of her rampage. Sheâs wearing that same dress right before she calls herself âthe reckoningâ and hangs several people. One thing is for sure: Dolores is going to be a force of nature in
Westworld
Season 2.
Bernard at a Delos base camp

Oh look, itâs Bernard again! This time, he appears to be at the same Delos base camp that we saw earlier (the one with Fares Faresâ character). He looks quite confused, which isnât surprising, since he shot himself in the head right before the finale. We can also see Betty Gabrielâs Maling in the background wearing goggles. She could have been part of a retrieval team that brought Bernard and Stubbs back to camp. In any case, Bernard seems to be heavily featured in the first few episodes of
Westworld
Season 2.
