Take the Black Podcast: Season 8 filming news, Lady Stoneheart lives, and more!
Welcome back to another episode of the Take the Black Podcast with House Razor, the second best Game of Thrones podcast at Winter is Coming, and we aren’t afraid to brag about it.
This week, we kick off the show with some fun Wrestlemania news (yes, you read that correctly), then we move into our regularly scheduled Lady Stoneheart appreciation segment. After all that fun is done, we move on to some pretty cool reports from the set of Game of Thrones season 8. Topics include:
- There is a lot to unpack from the shoot at Magheramorne Quarry and Moneyglass…like, 55 nights worth of stuff. How does that compare to other notable action shoots, like the Battle of Helm’s Deep from the Lord of the Rings movies?
- We discuss, in depth, the up-close photographs from the set at Magheramorne Quarry, and what they portend.
- A new scorpion-type weapon has been seen at Titanic Studios. This does not bode well for Dany…or Jon (Isis totally thinks Jon is riding a dragon in season 8).
- Young actress Bronte Carmichael has joined the cast for season 8. In all the excitement, Cory Thone gushes about Winnie the Pooh. It’s all connected, trust me.
- Joe Dempsie has discussed Gendry’s role in season 8 quite a bit lately. We dig into that.
