Watch the trailer for “Virtù e Fortuna,” the third episode of Westworld season 2

The second episode of Westworld season 2, “Reunion,” is in the can. Episode 3, “Virtù e Fortuna,” is on the way. Check out the trailer for next Sunday’s weekly mind melt:

“Reunion” spent a lot of time in the past, showing us the events that led us to the creation of Westworld. There’s little of that in this trailer, although given the way this show plays with time, expect some jumps. Highlight include:

• The members of the Ghost Nation tribe reenter the story.
• A group of black-clad Delos security forces guns down a bunch of hosts, so it looks like the company is finally taking an interest in the lives of its board members.
• Dolores takes a shot right in the side, but it doesn’t slow her down none. Eventually, you know the hosts are going to find a way around those pesky pain reflexes Delos programmed in.
• Bengal tiger.

The tiger showed up in the first episode of the season, “Journey Into Night.” Next week, we should get a better indication of how it got into Westworld in the first place, which may mean we’ll get a glimpse of other parks, as well.

We get one shot each of Maeve and Bernard. Neither of them were featured very heavily in “Reunion,” so hopefully we get more of them in “Virtù e Fortuna.” Charlotte Hale, too.

And thus continues HBO’s ambitious, expensive, narratively twisty attempt to define the TV zeitgeist for a post-Game of Thrones world. Are you watching?
