Welcome to the WiC Club!

We here at WiC love bringing you news, reviews, and editorial content about Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire and genre fiction in general. Perhaps you noticed. And we’re going to keep doing all of that, and hopefully more besides. However, for the especially hardcore among you, we’re trying a little something extra: the WiC Club.

The WiC Club is a new premium service we’re starting up using Patreon’s user-friendly platform. Basically, if you choose to join at a certain level, you’ll get access to exclusive, members-only content and perks. For example, at $1 per month, you be entered to members-only monthly swag giveaways and get access to one special members-only article per week! At $4, you’ll get to watch or listen to (or both) an extra members-only episode of Take the Black, our weekly chat show and podcast, with topics chosen by you. And for $10 per month, you’ll get WiC Club tee-shirts and access to a monthly live stream with WiC editor Dan Selcke, a free-flowing discussion about all things Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, and genre storytelling.

To reiterate, we’re not going to stop doing anything on WiC we already do; everything at the WiC Club will be above and beyond the normal content on the website. Gold Dragon

$4 or more per month

• Bonus episodes of the Take the Black chat show and podcast every week, with topics chosen by subscribers!
• Free WiC Sticker on Subscription with hand-written note from WiC team.
• All of the perks of being a Silver Stag member.

Valyrian Steel

$10 or more per month

• Free “WiC Club” T-Shirt upon subscription.
• Drinking and Knowing Things, a 1-hour video conference/live stream with WiC editor Dan Selcke, each month, for members. We’ll drink wine (or your beverage of choice) and talk GoT and fantasy.
• All of the perks of being a Gold Dragon member.

Why we use Patreon: 

Make no mistake: WiC Club is an extra service. We’re using Patreon because it’s a reliable service that allows us to seamlessly offer premium options to WiC fans who want to get even more involved with the site. We know WiC Club won’t be for everyone and that is fine. We’re still dedicated to maintaining and improving all that WiC currently offers. WiC will always be free.
