Montenegro: Bronn

Montenegro is up there on the list of primo luxury vacation spots. It’s known for its gorgeous beaches, its lush, dense forest, and its amazing fjord, the Boka Bay. It’s somewhere you might spot a celebrity or two while they relax on holiday. Sounds like just the kind of place the sellsword Bronn would like to settle down, right?

We all know that Bronn is ambitious. He dreams of having his own castle and is willing to marry or screw over whomever he needs to in order to get it. Bronn wants to elevate his social status from mere bodyguard to landed lord. Montenegro — if it existed in Westeros, that is — sounds like his sort of place.

While he’d come for the beauty, Bronn might end up staying for the lifestyle. Like Bronn, Montenegro has a bit of a seedy underbelly. The country is famously plagued by the notorious Pink Panthers, a particularly bold group of jewel thieves who have built their reputation by conducting their crimes with a hitherto unseen level of artistry.

Bronn’s no jewel thief, just a sellsword. Still, his line of work requires a similar lack of morals, to some degree. Mercenaries are rarely the most valiant of people and Bronn is no exception. He coul relax on the Montenegrin beaches by day and pal with the Pink Panthers at night.
