This weekend, you can see Miranda Richardson as Madame Tracy in Amazon’s Good Omens show. But Game of Thrones fans are more interested in seeing the Harry Potter alum in her role in the Game of Thrones prequel series, which is currently filming under the working title Bloodmoon.

During a press junket for Good Omens, Digital Spy talked to Richardson about working on the prequel and how she feels about following a worldwide phenomenon like Game of Thrones. “I’m so happy,” she said. “I have loved the storytelling in that series and the wish and the will is to continue that, with a totally different set of elements, people.”

"The craftsmen are the same. There is a base team that is the same and their work has been phenomenal throughout, and I’m just thrilled to be a part of it."

So there you have it: Richardson loved the storytelling in the original series (I can’t believe we’re already calling it that), and some of the craftsmen who worked on Game of Thrones are also working on Bloodmoon. We don’t know everyone who’s is making the jump, although a few are few are starting to come out of the woodwork, including GoT horse mistress Camilla Naprous.

At the moment, Bloodmoon is still at the “pilot” stage — HBO has not ordered a full series, and will only do so if the pilot meets its standards. George R.R. Martin says there are at least three more spinoffs (or “successor shows,” as he likes to call them) in the works.
