Ever since Game of Thrones ended back in May, people have been wondering if there could be a spinoff starring any of our favorite characters off on new adventures and living their best lives in the future. The apocalyptic threat of the Night King and his army of the dead has been dealt with. Time to chase new horizons.

Sure, the pilot episode for the Game of Thrones prequel Blood Moon is shooting right now, but that show is set thousands of years before the original series, meaning there won’t be any familiar faces.

So what would it take to get the cast to say yes to a Thrones spinoff? Entertainment Weekly sat down with the group who attended last week’s San Diego Comic-Con — Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Conleth Hill (Varys), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) — to find out.

James Hibberd, EW’s Westerosi correspondent, asked how the actors would react if HBO “backs up the money truck” in 10 or so years and offered to do a spinoff.

  • Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth): “Well, I couldn’t possibly consider it until I read the check.” Davos is making that money.
  • Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm): “If Grey Worm stays in Naath and we’re shooting in, like, Barbados, I’m down.”
  • Maisie Williams (Arya Stark): “If they invent zips and not have leather costumes that are laced up, that would be cool.” A globe-trotting assassin needs to be able to quickly change when someone bleeds all over her outfit.

And of course, that question doesn’t apply to Coster-Waldau and Hill.

Jokes aside, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) have both said “no” to the idea of a spinoff with their characters, but give it some time, and you never know…let’s ask this question again in a few years.

Hibberd also asked Wright how he thinks Bran is doing in his first few months in office. “I don’t really think he’s got many ideas,” Wright said, “he kind of sort of sits there and listens to what everyone else says. And chills out.” Sounds like a nice gig if you can get it. As for who stole what from the set, Anderson says he swiped one of the Unsullied markers we used to see on the large maps of Westeros during the show’s many planning sessions.
